The Cowboy Chapter is the only AFA chapter in Wyoming and has a proud heritage and history of support to our air force members and their families in Wyoming. This includes the 90th Missile Wing and Twentieth Air Force, stationed at F. E. Warren AFB, the Wyoming Air National Guard’s 153rd Airlift Wing, Air Force ROTC Detachment 940 at the University of Wyoming, Air Force JROTC at Cheyenne East High School, and the Wyoming Civil Air Patrol.

The AFA Cowboy Chapter provides strong support in Cheyenne and we pride ourselves on exceptionally active support to the local “Air Force Family,” including annual events such as the Armed Forces Day celebration, Community Partner Luncheon, deployed spouse & family events, “Treats for Troops” during the holidays, Thunderbird Enlisted Barbeque and visits to the Cheyenne VAMC.
